CV: Playing It Smart

This is a comic I just found recently after cleaning up my room, which was in dire need of cleaning and organizing (had too many mountains of paper that I don't need anymore). I must have forgotten about it since I drew this about 6 months ago.

But the good thing is that I found it and now I've taken the time to scan and post it here.

The title "Playing it smart" was derived from what my brother and I like to say whenever someone is asking us how do we determine our favorite characters to use in games (this happens a lot when fighting games are in the discussion). In my opinion, it doesn't matter who your favorite character to use is (whether they are labeled as strong or weak), as long as you play it smart because you're the one controlling the character in the first place.

And I thought this applies to Portrait of Ruin since there's always mixed opinions on player's most used character of choice. Some people use Jonathan more than Charlotte (because her spells may be piss weak at certain areas, or against certain monsters), or vice versa, or some use both characters equally.

I hope you enjoy this comic. I'm hoping to post more comics before summer ends.

P.S. If you're wondering what Jonathan is doing on the sixth panel, he is watching the game over screen after being killed... possibly by Death.

It's funny how Charlotte can actually turn Jonathan into a toad in the actual game (if you're controlling Charlotte and you brought out Jonathan as well).

Also in the last panel, Charlotte is holding the DS sideways, like a book. Could she be playing Brain Age, Hotel Dusk, Ninja Gaiden, or something else? That is totally up to you to decide which.
